<p>Within the framework of my Ph.D. research on the Episcopal Social Networks and Patronage in Late Antique Egypt, which focuses on the social involvement of Abraham of Hermonthis and Pesynthios of Koptos as reflected in their professional archives, I have been working on establishing a new relative chronology of the so-called “Monastery” of Epiphanius, a settlement of hermits closely connected to both the bishops.</p>
