Transliteration of the tablet inside the envelope

1um-ma A-lá-hu-um-ma 2ù A-šùr-ták-lá-ku 3a-na I-dí-a-bi-im En-na-/nim 4Puzur4-A-šùr ù I-ku-/pì-a 5qí-bí-ma : a-ma-kam 6ṭup-pé-e : am-ra-ma 7ṭup-pá-am ha-ar-ma-/am 8ša 5 ma-na kù-babbar 9ša a-na I-ku-pí-a lo.e.10a-na e-bu-ṭí rev.11A-šùr-du10 i-dí-nu-ma 12dam-gàr il5-pu-tù 13ṭup-pá-am dí-na-šu-ma 14li-du-uk : a-na-kam 15ṭup-pu-um ša na-ru-qí-/šu 16iš-tí : um-mì-a-ni-šu 17al-pu-ut.

 

Translation of the tablet in the envelope

Thus (say) Ali-ahum and Aššur-taklāku: say to Iddin-abum, Ennānum, Puzur-Aššur and Ikuppiya.

There, I have seen the tablets, and the enveloped tablet concerning 5 minas of silver that Aššur-ṭāb gave as investment loan to Ikuppiya and that the creditor had written down, give him the tablet so that he cancels it (kills it). Here, I wrote the tablet of his joint stock company with his investors.
