    <description descriptionType="Abstract">&lt;p&gt;This research project analyzes the effect of a change in the reference point and the endogenous decision to reveal the reference point on the real effort provided in a real effort laboratory experiment. Absolute differences in the performance in a repeated math task are endogenously or exogenously revealed or not revealed at all participants in a group, before participants redo the math task again.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This experiment ran in the experimental software &amp;quot;zTree&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The dataset contains the following folders:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;- &amp;quot;Instruktionen&amp;quot;: The instructions that where handed out to the experiments&amp;#39; participants, regardless of the treatment that was run.&lt;br&gt;
- &amp;quot;zTree&amp;quot;: The zTree source code that was used or running the individual sessions.&lt;br&gt;
- &amp;quot;Daten&amp;quot;: The experimental data of thirteen (13) sessions, held between May 30th and June 21st in 2016.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
