Besonders ausf&uuml;hrlich wird der Boden in Deutschland behandelt.</p>\n\n<p><em><strong>Soil and Vegetation:</strong></em> Definition, Distribution, and Importance: Soil is the thin, fertile top layer of the earth&lsquo;s crust and is therefore irreplaceable for human nutrition. Due to the stored amount of carbon, the soil is of very great importance for the global climate. After a description of the meaning and interaction between soil and atmosphere, the distribution of the land area and vegetation as well as clearing, species shift and other threats<br>\nare briefly discussed. The soil in Germany is treated in particular in detail.</p>\n\n<p><em><strong>Suelo y vegetaci&oacute;n</strong></em>: definici&oacute;n, distribuci&oacute;n e importancia: El suelo es la capa delgada superior de la corteza terrestre y por su f&eacute;rtilidad es la base para la alimentaci&oacute;n humana. Debido a la cantidad de carbono almacenado, el suelo es de gran importancia para el clima global. Despu&eacute;s de tratar su importancia e interacci&oacute;n entre el suelo y la atm&oacute;sfera, se describe brevemente los tipos de suelos terrestre y su distribuci&oacute;n global.<br>\nTambien se describe la distribuci&oacute;n de la vegetaci&oacute;n global, los cambios en la composici&oacute;n de especies, as&iacute; como su destrucci&oacute;n y otros peligros.
