Die ca. 7% der Agrarfl&auml;chen ausmachenden Moorstandorte verursachen damit 41% der landwirtschaftlichen Emissionen. Die Wiedervern&auml;ssung von Mooren zum Erhalt ihrer Torfrestk&ouml;rper und m&ouml;glichst erneuter Torfbildung wird damit zu einem entscheidenden Klimaschutzfaktor. F&uuml;r die k&uuml;nftige Nutzung bietet sich eine nasse Moorbewirtschaftung, die Paludikultur, an.<br>\n<em><strong>The exploitation of Germany&lsquo;s peatlanss and its climatic consequences: </strong></em>The original area of peatlands in Germany is likely to have been around 1.8 million hectares, i.e. almost 5% of the territory. Currently, only about 5% of these are growing, peat-accumulating ecosystems. The peatlands, which are largely drained today, emit 53 million tonnes of CO<sub>2</sub> equivalents, which is around 7% of Germany&lsquo;s total greenhouse gas emissions. The peatlands, which make up around 7% of the agricultural area, thus cause 41% of agricultural emissions. The rewetting of peatlands to preserve their peat body and, if possible, renewed peat formation is thus becoming a decisive climate protection factor. In the future, peatlands has ideally be used wet - in paludiculture.<br>\n<em><strong>La explotaci&oacute;n de los pantanos de Alemania y sus consecuencias clim&aacute;ticas:</strong></em> Es probable que la superficie original de los pantanos en Alemania fuera de alrededor de 1,8 millones de hect&aacute;reas, es decir, casi el 5% del territorio. Actualmente, solo alrededor del 5% de estos son ecosistemas en crecimiento que acumulan turba. Las turberas, que en la actualidad est&aacute;n en gran parte drenadas, emiten 53 millones de toneladas equivalentes de CO<sub>2</sub>, lo que representa alrededor del 7% de las emisiones totales de gases de efecto invernadero de Alemania. Las turberas, que representan alrededor del 7% de la superficie agr&iacute;cola, provocan el 41% de las emisiones agr&iacute;colas. El rehumedecimiento de las turberas para preservar sus restos de turba y, si es posible, la formaci&oacute;n renovada de turba se est&aacute; convirtiendo as&iacute; en un factor decisivo de protecci&oacute;n clim&aacute;tica.
